Leili and Pasha, who were once in a relationship, unexpectedly meet each other at a mutual friend’s wedding ceremony. Told in flashback, the film makes us dive into their past and witness how they met, how tension arose between them and how the dilemma between love and personal freedom ultimately led to their separation – all accompanied by a pop soundtrack making their tale an electrifying adventure.
Born in 1987 in Tehran – Iran, Ali Behrad is a graduate in Engineering. He started attending cinema courses in 2009. His debut feature IMAGINE, featuring Leila Hatami (A Separation), was selected in Cannes Critics’ Week 2022 and attended many international film festivals such as Edinburgh, Bucharest, Middle East Now… TEHRAN ANOTHER VIEW is his second feature film.
